Description

NGC6440 is a small globular cluster (3'x3') at a distance of 23000 light years. its brightest stars are magnitude 16.7.
Planetary nebula NGC6445 has an interesting squared off shape. Its brightest portion (the only one visible on this picture) measures about 0.9'x0.75'. Its distance is 4600 light years.
